Subject: [MCR] Summer Mountain Wether Forecast
Date: Mon, 27 Apr 2015 16:35:37 +0000

Avalanche Canada is pleased to announce that the Avalanche Canada Mountain Weather Forecast will continue for the summer. The forecast will change with the seasons: in spring it will focus on weather factors related to runoff and flooding while the summer forecast will concentrate on lighting and high impact precipitation events, with an emphasis on convective activity.

Summer recreationists, such as hikers, ATV riders, and mountaineers will find this forecast useful for trip planning. Emergency planners and natural hazard risk managers may also find the forecast helpful.

You can find the ACMWF at www.avalanche.ca/weather.
