[MCR] Avalanche control on Wednesday

Parks Canada will be doing avalanche control on the Sunshine Village road, Mt. Bosworth and Mt. Stephen areas tomorrow (Wednesday, November 18). Depending on results, we may also be doing avalanche control on Mt. Dennis (Field ice climbs), Mt. Whymper and in the Simpson avalanche paths.

 

No climbing or skiing in these areas tomorrow please.

 

We have received over 30 cm of new snow since 0900 this morning and it continues to snow heavily into tonight.
