Nice simple lap on Black Prince tree triangle today. Temperatures just below
freezing, intermittent snow and breezy all day up there. Approx 15cms of snow
on the latest crust and it skied reasonably well with not too many hard old
tracks. Another 10cm and it would qualify as good skiing!
Nice to find some decent skiing that avoided the issue of going into real
avalanche terrain. I agree with all the Rockies bulletins and wanted to
minimize my exposure to avalanche terrain for now.
Enjoy that dust on crust. It sure beats a slab failing on a weak layer!
