We encountered patchy new snow from the last storm at around 2200m, and there looked to be more serious snow accumulation above 2400m. As it was raining early in the morning we elected to not start hiking early and to not attempt the Fuhrmann Ledges, due to elevated risk of rockfall. We did note some isolated rockfall occurrences off of Mount Lefroy in the vicinity of the Fuhrmann Ledges while we were on the Lefroy Glacier. Objectives in the Lake Louise area such as Victoria and Temple looked to be quite snowy and will require some warm weather to bring them back into summer shape for climbing.
