Guided Moonlight yesterday March 13th. The climb is
still in, but the rain took its toll on the first 40
feet. It is much thinner, and started to delaminate
in the warmer temps but is now reconnnecting to the
rock. Snowline, looks marginally climbable. Both
routes are still very fat for the second half (maybe
they have a chance to reform the bottom?), and almost
all the v-threads (15 or so on both climbs) had melted
out. No one else there the whole day.
Today March 14th guided Louise Falls. Climb is still
in great shape, with many hooks and an easy line up
the left side of the pillar. Lots of snow on the
first half of the climb, and still very large daggers
looming on both sides. The temp never rose above -5
there today and more snow was coming down by noon. Had
the climb to ourselves all day.
