Guiding in King Creek today. +5C this morning with partly cloudy skies and
mod. W winds. Climbs holding in there without the direct sunlight. Some
daggers up high above the main flow look close to falling down. No rockfall
observed through the day. No precipitation in the immediate area. Winds
picked up late in the afternoon and were gusting to strong aloft. The front
seemed to abate at highway 40 with the drizzle starting around Lac Des Arcs.
If the rain hit the Kananaskis area tonight the side gullies on the approach
to King Creek and all other features for that matter could be pose an
avalanche risk to craggers. Take care.
