Toured up to about 8100' above Sherbrooke Lake today.
Ski quality was actually good on slopes above the valley bottom above 6500".
5- 10 cm of dust on crust. Above 7500' the upper crust disappears and i
found a hard hand shear under a 2 cm crust down 50 cm.
Freezing level appeared to be at the highway at about 5300'. Moderate south
winds most of the day and snowing lightly with a total accumulation of about
3cm.
Lots of evidence of full path avalanches that ran in the last big
warming/rain storm.
