Went across the Goat plateau on Castle today in the mist. There are still a number of snow patches at the base of the upper tier including at the base of the Brewer route. With forecasted clear weather for the next few days, this snow will likely be quite hard in the morning. An ice axe could prove useful. Some of these snow patches can be easily by-passed.
