Hi Everyone, Guided an ascent of the Brewer's Buttress today in the stellar September weather. Just a few simple observations - there is NO water left at all coming out of the (a few small snow patches but they'll be gone quick with the forecast) gullies, something to perhaps keep in mind when planning your climbs particularly for those staying at the AC Castle Hut over the weekend.
A party that was ahead of us on the route may have headed down the wrong descent gulley - hoped they figured it out sooner than later. There are 2 small sub peaks to pass as you head north before you arrive at the correct descent gulley and it is also marked with a large cairn as well as some marker cairns down the trail.
Enjoy September!
