Quick heads up.
There has been a small landslide that has taken out the approach path about a hundred meters before the gearing up spot below the rock step.
Amazingly this - from a distance - looks like it has run on old glacier ice.....yikes.
The area looks pretty unstable with the potential for more rock fall and it would probably be prudent to take a much lower line through this area.
I'll post a photo of it when I get back on Wednesday.
