> amounts of snow last night, sunny skies and temps hovering around -10C.
>
> Easy travel to Valley of the Birds (VOTB) w stock Pathfinder. We climbed the
> Eagle, Albatross and Seagull. There is sun on the latter in the AM, Albatross
> for most of the day. Only the top of the Eagle is getting sun right now.
>
> Route conditions:
> Approach ice - excellent
> Deadbird - thin bottom 5m
> Yellowbird - fat until upper lower angle
> Seagull - sporty for grade
> Albatross - fatter than I remembered it
> Eagle - well formed takes decent gear
>
> Fun and warm day out inspite of the fx'ed temps. Have a great weekend.
