Parks Canada Visitor Safety flew through the Lake Louise area early this
morning. The final section along the East Ridge of Mt Temple has some
interesting cornice/crevasse sections to keep climbers alert, while
Temple's North face is looking dry. The bergschrund to gain the
Haddo-Aberdeen col is wide-open with rocks embedded in the ice above. On Mt
Fay, the schrund looks well-bridged further climbers-right. The upper
Victoria Glacier is in its usual mid-August shape, with large holes opening
up.
