We climbed Mt. Biddle yesterday Aug 23 by the standard West ridge. Predominantly, the peak is dry, with the exception of a narrow ice strip, about 100m long, that allows access to the Biddle/Park col (crampons needed). It is possible to scramble around it on very chossy scree/rock. In the same vein, overall the peak has remarkably loose rock, even by Rockies standards. There are two stuck ropes at the start of the 5th class, likely from a hasty retreat from a previous season.
