[MCR] Mt Brazeau, Jasper National Park

Spent the past few days in the area and climbed the peak on Thursday September 19.  We found straightforward glacier travel getting across the Brazeau icefield and wind blown scree slopes for the final climb leading out of the Valad-Brazeau col.

We traversed over Mt. Henry Macleod on the way back to camp which was a nice and easy ridge walk with one 55 meter lower to get off the ridge back onto the glacier.  There was a trace of new snow above 3000 meters from Wednesday's storm but most of it had melted away when we left on Friday.  A beautiful area.

Have fun!
