Subject: [MCR] Floe Lake, Kootenay National Park Sept 21-22
Date: Mon, 23 Sep 2013 11:13:28 -0600

We camped at Floe Lake on the night of September 21st.  Cool weather with rain and snow showers both days.  The larches are a bit late turning color, but many are yellow now (see photos).  On September 22nd the snow line was a bit below Numa Pass in the morning (2300m), and it lowered to just above Floe Lake by the afternoon (2000m).
