Hello to all,
Quick update to Jeff's MCR from last week. Amadeus continues to be in great shape. The mixed pitch is free from snow. The ice has weeped across the slab making the belly flop transition less intimidating than normal. It is possible to protect this move with a 10cm screw and the subsequent traverse with a 3" cam. The ice pitch continues to seep. If you have Goretex, bring it. You will be thankful.
The soft slabs from last week have hardened up considerably, but are still well anchored. No settlements today. This made for a fast bum slide back down to the trail in the trees.
