[MCR] Mount Myra Conditions

Subject: [MCR] Mount Myra Conditions

Took a recon up to Mount Myra to find some snow to ski. Hs in the alpine is around 50cms at best with TL and BTL still below threshold for avalanches with the exception of the possible wind loaded area in the TL/Alpine transitions. We looked at the gully that splits the NW ridge but the nasty talus is still proud with the low snow depths

Rain for most of the day washed away what could of been up to 20-30 cms of new snow.  Ice curtains in the cliff bands below the NW bowls were looking in great shape though with lots of ice routes formed up from the recent cold temps.
