It was a dry summer, and it’s been a dry
early winter. With a metre of snow on the ice, things will look very
different, but the snow bridges are still very weak. As snow starts
to build up in the Rockies, use caution on the glaciers and check out these
pictures
from late summer 2013 before heading onto the Wapta Icefields.
