[MCR] Early season glacier skiing in the Rockies

Subject: [MCR] Early season glacier skiing in the Rockies

It was a dry summer, and it’s been a dry early winter.  With a metre of snow on the ice, things will look very different, but the snow bridges are still very weak.  As snow starts to build up in the Rockies, use caution on the glaciers and check out these pictures from late summer 2013 before heading onto the Wapta Icefields.

Merry Christmas and have a safe winter.
