If any out there would enjoy ice climbing in May—the lower part of Professors
is currently about as styrofoamy and fun as May ice gets. We climbed the first
4 pitches and it felt relaxing being off by around 10:30am. No hanging ice
hazard down low. Some water running but the ice felt secure and there were no
rocks rolling while we were there.
Road was open through the golf course and the trail is snow free.
