Climbed Guinness Gully in Field today. Temperature was -14 degrees at the car
this morning at 10am, but on the route it warmed up to about -5.
The route is in great shape. The first pitch requires a few stubbies for
protection but otherwise the route is filling in. There is very little snow in
Field right now, rock fall is a greater risk than avalanches. Other classic
routes like Carlsberg, Pilsner, Masseys and Super Bok still need some time to
get into their true to the grade shape. Twisted and Silk Tassel look quite
good.

Enjoy the warmer temps.
