Parks Canada has done a very nice job with installing several new bridges along the Rockwall Trail System in Kootenay National Park. Not only do the bridges serve their purpose, but they are also aesthetically quite pleasing to the eyes. Thanks for the hard work, Parks. With the exception of the closed Numa Creek Trail (bridge out), the Rockwall Trail Network is generally in dry and good conditions. Here and there expect a few logs on the trails, especially though within a few km to Numa Creek Campsite ( on Numa Pass Trail) where numerous large trees are blocking the path. Also, at times the trails are overgrown with vegetation, but all else is well. The landscape is breath-taking and not only because of it's relentless elevation change:-) Happy Trails, Martina Wakeman ACMG Hiking Guide _______________________________________________ These observations and opinions are those of the person who submitted them.
