I guided an ascent of Lineham Falls today with Stan and Jen. Fairly easy trail breaking on skis up to the base of the climb with 10-20cm of new snow. (Snowshoes may not be great right now due to the side hilling on buried sun crust on the initial section of the trail) We climbed the Left Hand Route on Lineham which was in good shape with good protection throughout and allows for a variety of line choices from WI 3-4+. The snow slopes above and below the climb showed no weaknesses of concern at this point, but were obviously sluffing a lot in this last storm cycle. Observed a few natural avalanches out of steep solar aspects
up to size 2 in the last 48hrs running on the buried sun crust and some sluffing out of steep terrain. "The Shining" also appears to be in good shape when viewed from the trail.
